Just wanted to write a quick note to tell you again how glad I am that you helped bring Lily into my life! She is wonderful ! She is SO FULL OF LOVE! She lost her first tooth this weekend? She went to her first Day Spa the week before. They gave me a pix and a bit of her hair. How cute is that? She was so good at the vet this wknd that she fell asleep in the vets arms. I'm going to be putting more Lily pix out later today if you want to check them out.
Hope that all is well with you and your new pups (the old ones too! ). We are celebrating Independence Day in the states so I have the day off. I’m going to read all day (and play with Lily, of course) I worked hard all wknd - weeding the gardens and cooking for a family picnic that we had yesterday. All stuff that I love.
Peace and puppy sighs,
Jo-Anne

We are home now and got the new baby all settled in. I am telling you she is the most adorable and loveable puppy. She is doing well and getting used to her new surroundings.
We got her a big playpen with lots of toys in it and her litter box and her kennels in there too. She is playing a lot and seems to be adjusting beautifully. She even as her own little 5 inch TV right outside of her playpen to watch. Ken saw to that.
She is everything that you said she was and so much more. When we picked her up the lady at the airport didn’t want to give her up. She fell in love with her as we have. She was also a big hit at the pet store too. Everybody kept stopping us to see her.
We will without a doubt take the best care of her. The vet is coming on Monday to see her. We will email you and let you know how it went.
She has really taken to Ken. She wants to follow him wherever he goes. And of course he has definitely taken to her. She is such a great addition to the family. We couldn’ have asked for a cuter sweeter or more adorable baby than her.
We both are so happy to have her.
Will send pictures a lot.
Please keep in touch and thank you so much for everything that you did for us.
We think you both are real special
Love,
Ken and Jo.
SUBJECT: Jazz
Roxanne,
I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful little girl you have blessed us with. Please feel free to give our e-mail address or telephone number to anyone whom you think would like to talk to us about Jazz. We received her papers you sent and we thank you.
We took her to the Virgin Islands last week and she flew in the cabin with us in a soft carrier. She did fantastic and slept most of the way. She went almost 11 hours without going to the potty and we were very proud. She refuses to potty outside or anywhere except on her litter or a wee wee pad. Her personality is simply precious and we love her to death.
Thanks again. Hello to Jordi.

SUBJECT: Henry
Roxanne,
We are SO happy with Henry. He is a truly delightful dog - now 1 year old.
Avery had a birthday party for him and his friends a Pekinese, a Pom and 2 shitzu-s came. He of course had a dogfood cake with candles, treat bags (Scooby Doo), invitations, crepe paper, etc. The whole neighborhood thinks I’m crazy and they’re probably right , but who cares, we had a great time and the dogs played like crazy! Henry is well behaved, potty trained, loves other animals including our two elderly cats, and is the most loving animal in the world.
He looks exactly like the picture of Monty! We've also recently signed up to foster parent bichons from Small Paws - a rescue organization. Thanks again for a fabulous introduction to bichons!
P.S, When I figure out how to put pictures on my email I'll send you some of Henry , we have thousands !
Take care Roxanne,
Jodee
SUBJECT: Winsy
Hi, Roxanne
Well. Everything went swimmingly yesterday. Jenny and I and our mom drove to SeaTac Airport and picked up our WONDERFUL little puppy. He is too adorable for words. He is sweet and happy and well-adjusted and DARLING and healthy and SO charming. We couldn’t believe how cute he was.
Jenny has had him named for almost the whole time we waited for him. His name is Winsy, and Winsome is his “real” name.
He really seems to love everyone he comes in any contact with“ he’s so happy and well-adjusted, and we thank you for that, along with his good health.
Wincy was VERY good on the ride home, and went to the bathroom in his litter box (with feline pine wood chips in it) like a good little puppy. He slept with each of us for the three-hour ride, never complaining or having an accident. We very soon realized that he loves to find a small, tight, snuggly places to go to sleep, most likely simulating the situation with his many litter mates. He had a little food and water on the way home as well.
At Jenny’s house he seemed to feel right at home very soon, and ate and drank water, slept in his little bed with his stuffed animal, slept in our arms, slept in a crevice in the leather couch, played with some toys, and even went outside in the grass.
Out there he loved the sights, sounds, and smells, and his ears perked up when he heard the sound of a dog or puppy barking or the sound of a bird. He’d stop in his tracks and listen. He seemed to enjoy the slight breeze and smell the air. He even pooped in the grass outside! He is really off to such a good start with all the potty training and we thank you for that too.
The cutest thing ever, though, was when he had been in the grass for awhile and he started running and bouncing in the grass! It was adorable! He’d kind of bounce sideways and then forward in the grass, coming when we called him. He waddles so cutely and is such a plump little shape. He wags his (darling) tail a lot. He is clearly going to be a wonderful little dog and bring so much joy to all our lives, and especially Jenny.
I spoke with Jenny this morning to find out how his first night was. She started him in his crate beside her bed and he slept for a few hours. Then he started whimpering and then kind of wailing loudly in a shrill voice. She tried talking to him, even singing to him, and finally picked him up and snuggled him in her bed. He put himself above her pillow and close to the wall and slept the rest of the night! I really think animals tell us what they want, and we have only to listen and believe them, huh? She said he wanted to get up about 7 so she put him in his litter box; he didn't go there, but did outside. That’s great. She said he was especially bouncy and happy outside and today.
He will meet more “kinfolk“ today and have a lot of fun. He seems to have bonded to us already and Jenny is just thrilled with him. (Me too, and Mom too, and Grandpa too, and on and on... ) The last I talked with Jenny this morning she was ready for a nap, and so was Winsy. He will be a sweet little napping buddy, that seems for sure.
Thank you so much, Roxanne, for raising this little puppy with such care and love. He will clearly bring so much joy to all he comes in contact with, and has already started making people’s lives happier and richer. You can rest assured he will have a wonderful life and be cared for and loved very much, always.
Cherie and Jenny
